Christie Lites, North America's largest stage lighting company, well known for illuminating concerts, theatre performances, events and more, approached us about making bespoke color changing neon artwork based on the Cold Roses album cover for the upcoming Ryan Adams Cold Roses tour.

The signs would form part of the stage backdrop and lighting, which meant being controlled from the control desk for perfect timing of color changes and effects. We delivered the signs with DMX controllers for each rose with XLR input and output (DMX input and output) and Cat5/Cat6 Data cables. Each sign was split across two backboards to allow for easier transportation and handling to and from the 30+ concerts over the course of the nationwide tour. This stage sign was made on a custom acrylic backboard, UV printed in the show's colors, and framed in RGB color-changing LED neon.

To make the sign easy to set up, dismantle, and transport, it was manufactured on 4 different backboards that were easy to stack and pack away after each gig. Pre-drilled holes for cable ties or screws ensured quick assembly and the ability to hang or mount the sign on various set ups.

We provided a DMX controller to give the tech team professional control over multiple features that come with our RGB neon signs. Another agency commissioned a large LED neon logo sign on behalf of REA Group, owner of Australia's leading property website, for their annual multi-city event. Made with LED neon flex on a white acrylic backboard, the sign comprised six pieces that could be easily taken apart and reassembled with pins and bolts. The logo backdrop had centre stage behind the presenters with the red colored LED flex tube displaying their brand color even when the sign wasn't illuminated.
