What We Made for W Hotel in Sydney:

W Sydney is one of five W hotels at the forefront of the brand's transformation, driven by local culture, flavour, history, and vibe. The emu artworks we created help differentiate the luxury Sydney hotel and represent its connection to place.

Created in close consultation with engineers, each emu artwork was made in three pieces connected by acrylic plates. The larger emu signs measure approximately 17ft (5.2m) tall and nearly 10ft (3m) wide. Suspended from the atrium ceiling, this installation can be viewed from any one of six different storeys, bathing the lounge area and guest room corridors in a bright pink glow.

Kit combined her extensive experience and design expertise with dedication and enthusiasm to go above and beyond for this customer, considering every little detail.
