Rainbow Tunnels - Part of the Safer Cities Program, Rainbow Tunnels reimagined pedestrian tunnels in Sydney's inner west with bold, colourful artwork by local LGBTQIA+ artists during WorldPride 2023 to help women, girls and gender-diverse people feel safer using these spaces.

What we made for Kieran Butler's 1,000 Kisses Installation:

These signs were made using LED neon with a clear acrylic backboard cut around the shape, with the majority made in our Australian manufacturing facility by our lead fabricator. Intended for installation on the tunnel ceiling, the word and quote signs had a light water-resistant seal applied to keep out any dampness. The largest signs, installed at the entrance to the tunnel, were made using our IP67 waterproof-rated process to ensure they were safe for use outdoors.

This project was assisted by our Senior Commercial LED Neon Designer with a total of 24 LED neon signs included in the ‘1,000 Kisses’ installation as detailed below.
