CUSTOM NEON® SHOWCASE

Internationally renowned surfwear brand Rip Curl chose Custom Neon to make a range of signage for their US retail stores and tradeshow display booths.

Custom Neon's Senior LED Neon Designer, Hannah Perez, worked closely with Jake Sandblom, Trade Marketing Manager at Rip Curl, drafting detailed specs and liaising with our fabricators on the creation of LED Neon + UV Print signage destined for Rip Curl's stores as well as other surf shops around the US.

Following the successful delivery and installation of more than 80 retail display signs, Jake sent Hannah an order for custom signage to be used at SurfExpo, where Rip Curl's booth would highlight their driving passion for The Search. Take a look at the customised signage we made for Rip Curl.

What we made for Rip Curl:

Rip Curl commissioned our team to design, spec and make merchandising display signs for their brand new Flashbomb Fusion Wetsuit range. Roughly a decade in production, this innovative range of leak-proof surfwear made its US debut at the Orlando SurfExpo illuminated by Custom Neon signs. These signs were made in various designs and sizes in batches of multiple units. Our team also turned the iconic Rip Curl Wetsuits shield logo into LED neon signs utilizing red LED neon flex on a glossy black acrylic backing.

For Rip Curl's SurfExpo display booth, we also created a bright, tropical sign for "The Search". Full of beach vibes, The Search sign fronted the entrance to their booth, evoking a sunlit, wave-washed atmosphere.

We have loved working with the US Rip Curl team and are looking forward to providing the custom signage Rip Curl has subsequently ordered for their Australian stores.
