UPAC Group Large Building Sign

Custom Neon® huge outdoor sign for upac.co.uk

Scotland’s largest independent packaging supplier, UPAC Group, wanted a large illuminated sign for the outside of their Glasgow facility. Our in-house designers worked with their team to create a design that fit the brief.

The result is a huge 27 metre (88ft) long LED neon sign made with our IP67 waterproof rated product. Installed on the exterior of their warehouse, the bright red sign can easily be seen from the country's busiest motorway, the M8.

We approached Custom Neon looking for a brilliantly bold sign that would turn heads in traffic on the M8 and we think they have done a tremendous job.

What we made for the UPAC Group:

Designed in a triple line block font using dark red LED neon fully encased in IP67 waterproof acrylic, the sign was made as 13 separate pieces, with each piece being 2 metres (6' 7") high and approximately 20-190cm (8"-6' 3") wide.

During the design process, our Senior LED Neon Designer, Katrina, worked closely with the UPAC Group's Marketing Manager, Melissa Cairney, to develop and advise on the technical aspects of such a large sign.
